The A.H. Systems SAS-550-2B is a precision low-frequency active monopole antenna engineered for high-performance electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and interference (EMI) testing. Covering an exceptionally wide frequency range from 100 Hz up to 60 MHz, this receive-only antenna is a specialized solution for technicians performing radiated emissions measurements in accordance with CISPR 16-1-4, MIL-STD-461, and TEMPEST requirements. The SAS-550-2B integrates a high-gain, low-noise amplifier (LNA) to provide superior signal-to-noise performance at low frequencies, while its redesigned 1/4-20 threaded rod attachment ensures enhanced mechanical durability compared to standard BNC connections. Supplied with a telescoping rod, ground plane, and a high-capacity internal battery pack, the SAS-550-2B delivers the reliable, omnidirectional performance required for demanding laboratory and open-field testing environments.
